George Nakos is Professor of Marketing and International Business at Clayton State University in Atlanta, Georgia. George’s research work focuses on small and medium-sized organizations and their entrepreneurial activities. He has published numerous articles in prestigious business journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, International Business Review, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of International Management, Journal of Small Business Management, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. For his research, he has received several awards over the years.
In addition, to his teaching and research activities, he has served in various administrative roles. Until last year he was the Chair of the Department of Management, Marketing and Supply Chain at Clayton State University. He has also received numerous grants and he has been involved with the business community as a consultant. Dr. Nakos has been invited to teach in several countries and he visited China as a Fulbright scholar.
He has been very active in several professional organizations and has served as the President, Vice President, and Annual Conference Chair of the Academy of International Business Southeast USA chapter. For his services to this organization he was selected to become a fellow of AIB-SE USA.
